Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 Online Free - Megashare
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 is an adaptation that is extremely close to its source material. I wish there was a way to work in the internal monologues as they appeared in the book, but alas, such is the way when adapting to another medium. If you’re a Batman fan and you’ve been looking forward to more enjoyable movies in the franchise that get closer to the comics, then this is your ticket right here. Whether you watch it in parts or in the full Deluxe Edition form, you can’t go wrong. The cold war stuff dates it, when Part 1 had a great timeless feel to it. Sometimes one feels it has too many fantastical elements compared to Part 1’s more grounded story. As such this is the first of the straight up adaptations of a DC comic where I felt they should’ve changed more from the source material. And yet the final showdown with the Joker is noticeable altered; it’s not better or worse, just different, and it’s an impressive achievement that it’s still so haunting. Maybe that’s because of the confrontation that is taking place, and that’s what Part 2 of this legendary story offers; some of fictions greatest characters interacting in ways that are epic, with great action and emotional weight. The episodic nature, and the quality of both films, can’t help but make one wish there was a Part 3, alas it will never come. It functions like a usual final part of a two-parter, with couple obstacles and same qualities, but it’s more violent and disturbing, which is exclusive in the Joker arc before the reflecting and Superman arcs. While the entertaining value has the ups from the action and form and the downs being mostly from the dark nature and the way Joker disturbs us, this film doesn’t really surpass over the previous part. But it’s still good to watch.
